FROM FOREST TO RIDGES
General information : of a five days long across the Chartreuse from Inn to Inn with luggages transfert. Starting at the "hameau" of La Plagne (Savoie) at 9am, arriving at Grenoble around 6pm. Evening meal, bed and breakfast at the Inn, payment on the spotl. The outdoor lunches are your responsability, supplying possible on the second and fourth day. Transfert from Chambéry train station or airport can be arrange. We will meet you the evening before the start at the Inn of La Plagne, to introduce ourself and to give you a run down of the following day's walk. The difficulty of this trek is medium and is taylored for regular walkers of all horizons. We strongly recommend that you take appropriate holiday insurance.

- Day 1 (Sunday) : ascent by a col overhanged by impressive cliffs, walk accross the Hauts de Chartreuse Natural Reserve, going down by a pass and a cirque with apeasing waterfalls.
- Day 2 (Monday) : across an agricultural plain, ascent of a forest pass, entrance to the "silence zone" with panoramic view of the Grande Chartreuse Monastery.
- Day 3 (Tuesday) : ascent of a summit through forest and mountain pasture by a vertiginous footpath.
- Day 4 (Wednesday) : walk around Chartreuse highest peak and ascent of the summit depending on weather.
- Day 5 (Thursday) : walk along a forest ridge with an amazing view on the valley below, across military fortification and goind down to Grenoble.
VERCORS : THE PASSAGE
General Information : of a six days length, only the first night in an Inn the others are in forest or mountain huts. Starting at Saint Nizier du Moucherotte at 9am, arriving at Die around 5pm. Payment of the Inn on arrival. Main course of the evening meal are your responsability, a list will be sent to you with the confirmation of your booking. We will meet you the evening before the start to introduce ourself and to give you the run down of the following day's walk. The difficulty of this trek is medium but with some parts extremelly vertiginous. This trek is taylored for adventurous walkers not scared of heights and a bit of weight in their back-pack. We strongly recommend you to take appropriate holiday insurance.

- Day 1 (Sunday) : ascent of a summit through forest, amazing view of Grenoble, going down through forest and mountain pastures.
- Day 2 (Monday) : panoramic footpath, ascent of a col in the cliff, vertiginous footpath.
- Day 3 (Tuesday) : ascent of a pass in a rocks barriere, going up the summit next to the pass, then walk on the ridges to go down by another pass and enter the Hauts Plateaux of Vercors Natural Reserve.
- Day 4 (Wednesday) : resting day with a light walk between two forest huts.
- Day 5 (Thursday) : Ascent of Vercors' rooftop and across the high plateau to mountain hut.
- Day 6 (Friday) : across the high plateau, going down to Die by a vertiginous pass.
